addition to the 3DNA Desktop, we also provide a comprehensive web
portal. Think of the 3DNA
Portal (http://3DNA.myway.com) like Yahoo! or MSN,
but without annoying ads and pop-ups. We hope this website becomes
your new home page and we encourage you to tell your friends about
it. Be sure to get yourself a new spam-free email account on the
Portal as well. If you already use Yahoo! or MSN, click 'Switch'
on the home page of the 3DNA Portal to copy your settings over.
You might wonder
why 3DNA launched a Portal. The answer is that we plan to incorporate
key information from the Portal within the 3DNA Desktop. I’m
sure you can imagine the possibilities - such as the weather forecast
right on the wall, real-time news and information incorporated into
the Browser Bay, and stock market information traveling across the
in-scene ticker. We’d like to get your feedback and ideas
as well. We plan to begin creating Add-on Worlds that incorporate
the Portal information very soon.
You’ll
also notice that we also include a fantastic new search toolbar
within Internet Explorer when you install v1.1. It uses the Google
search engine by default, but also integrates four other major search
engines seamlessly. It can be customized to suit your personal needs.
If you don't have use for the toolbar, you can choose not to install
it, or simply un-install it later if you don't use it.
