Despite FOX's
report that the race for tomorrow's American Idol will be a close
one, we at 3DNA disagree. We are going out on a limb and saying
based on the results of the click throughs from our marketing campaign,
Clay Aiken will win. You heard it here first.

The
gallery for Mercury
is now available for your viewing pleasure. As you will see from
the screenshots, this is not your typical Add-on World. Mercury
has been designed with both performance and theming in mind. We've
kept it light weight by using less geometry, allowing this world
to be defined not by how it was made, but by how you theme it. The
only limits here are your imagination.

Happy
Thanksgiving to all of our friends in the USA. We all hope that
you have all been having a great day full of food, friends, and
family.
Version
1.0 has moved into internal testing and everything is looking absolutely
fantastic. We are still on schedule to release in December. As you
can imagine we don't want to be working like this over the holidays
so you can come up with a good guess as to when the release date
will be. To answer all of the questions that will arise from this,
our official response will be "Soon".

We
hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween yesterday and that
you are ready for some good news. The Loft
Add-On World is done. Many thanks to all of our beta
testers for their help ironing out the wrinkles. Download
it now. You won't be disappointed. Who ever said "Good
things come to those who wait" was right.

Happy
Thanksgiving to all of our Canadian friends out there. We hope you
and your family had a great time. As always I ate way too much turkey
on Sunday and slept all day Monday. I love long weekends.
The
gallery for the Loft is
finally up and we hope that you will like what you see. In my humble
opinion, it is the best World that we have ever made. We've also
added a new Site Kit
page to the Community section where you can find banners and images
that you can use to shamelessly promote 3DNA on other websites.
Thursday,
October 10, 2002, 7:51 pm EST
We've added
some new sections to our website. We're now linking to the Themes
and Skies that everyone in our user community has created. Special
thanks to , Valfaroth, Ethanius, Vaxure, and bugzzzy (in
no particluar order) for all your great work. You can download these
new Themes and Skies
from the Download section of the site. We've also created two brief
tutorials on How to Create
Themes and How to Create
Skies so you can make your own. If you're interested in
talking about how to customize your 3DNA Desktop, feel free to join
in the forums.

Things have
been going great the past couple of weeks. The release was a complete
success. The forums have taken off in a way we never could have
anticipated. We can barely keep up, which is a fantastic problem
to have. We want more! More I tells ya.
And this is
only the beginning...
Thursday,

The
day has come for the public unveiling of the 3DNA Desktop featuring
our sci-fi themed world called “The BaseStation”. Special thanks
to all the beta testers who provided their feedback during development.
And another big thanks to Gigex, GameSpy, 3D Gamers and the other
download sites for hosting us and featuring 3DNA.
Be
sure to check out the 3D game on the roof called – ElecroBall!
Friday,
Sept 7, 2002, 12:00 EST
We're
hoping for a major public release of the BaseStation some time during
the week of September 16. We've been running around making sure
all of the bugs that everyone helped us find have been addressed,
so this one should be a huge improvement over the betas you've been
testing.

Sept 6, 2002, 2:22 am EST
It's
late, we're tired, but we're done. We've finished off the version
for MSI
and it's fantabulous (it is also more supreme then Matt). We'll
hopefully be bringing you some screen shots soon, so keep your eyes
open. We'll also be announcing joint contests to win some rockin'
GeForce4 graphics cards from MSI.
Thursday,
August 29, 2002, 3:52 pm EST
Sorry
for the lack of updates but we have been burning the midnight oil
finishing up a contract for an enhanced version of our product for
our wonderful partners at MSI.
You've probably heard of their motherboards and graphics cards.
They will be shipping this kick ass version of the 3DNA Desktop
with their graphics cards, which if we do say so ourselves, is pretty
fantastic. It has been our top priority for the past couple of weeks,
and we're almost done. We will now get back to work on the free
version of our product, so expect some big releases from us in September.
Thursday,
August 1, 2002, 11:13 am EST
Thank
you to everyone who has downloaded
the Sneak Preview of the 3DNA Desktop. We truly do appreciate all
of the feedback that we have received so far, and we look forward
to hearing everything else that you have to say. We'd also love
some feedback on the look and feel of the "BaseStation".
Please check out the pictures in the gallery
and then share your thoughts in the forums.
It's
been ridiculously hot here. For any of you out there that still
have the misconception that it is always cold in Canada, it has
been over 40 degrees celsius (that's over 100 degrees fahrenheit)
for the past week. I think we would have killed each other by now
if it weren't for air conditioning.
